Android dominates global smartphone shipments

Android is dominating Apple in smartphone shipments on a global scale. More than 100 million of the 158 million smartphones shipped worldwide in the second quarter ran on Android, according to the latest data from Canalys, which means Android captured 68.1% of the market. Apple accounted for just 16.4% of smartphone shipments worldwide. Original Story
