The Economist sets digital rate base

According to The Economist, it is the first magazine to set a digital rate base. Beginning in January 2013, a rate base of 50,000 will be in effect and include versions of the magazine read on the iPad and iPhone, Android devices, and BlackBerry Playbook. Original Story
