Meredith Parents Network relaunched a highly customizable, “responsive” Parents.com. The decision to use responsive design was based on how the Parents.com audience is increasingly consuming content via mobile devices, aid Liz Schimel, EVP and chief digital officer at Meredith National Media Group. Original Story

Hi -- As of today, 4/18/13, this is untrue. Meredith continues to send me spam emails and the unsubscribe link on their site is inoperable. It does not recognize the email address requesting unsubscription, nor does it confirm any such request. A call to their headquarters in Iowa also failed to stop the barrage. Recipients of marketing emails are thus held hostage, without choice, and their website gives no relief. This is NOT what I call responsive. I now tell everyone I know to stay as far away from BHG, Parents, and all other Meredith publications as possible. They treat potential customers like cattle or slaves, not human beings.
